Anthony Searcy catches 3 prize Chub in one session |
|||
| The following 3 Chub were caught on Friday 9th March 2012 from the Noonings Lane stretch. As I'd forgotten my bankstick camera adaptor I had to photo them in the net. Something I don't like doing. It doesn't do the fish justice. It was a cracking afternoon to be out and the banks were busy for a change! |

| Sean Roomy writes : -caught this chub pike fishing on march the 5th March, using a big deadbait smelt , it was a thumping bite and tore off upstream but I soon turned it and got it in the net, it's the first chub I have ever caught deadbaiting, it weighed 5lb 5oz . I caught one in the summer weighing 6lb 5oz on pellets, I think there are some huge chub in the lower derwent and best if lightly fished for. |
