Guests |
Full members may take guests to this water without
surrendering a guest ticket except when night fishing. The member
should hand his numbered disc to his guest before fishing commences,
and the guest must produce this disc for inspection at the request
of any member or Club bailiff.
A guest is not permitted, unless accompanied by a member, and must
fish on the same bank section as the member and no other. The member
will be responsible for his/her guest's conduct and observance of
the rules and conditions governing fishing.
Members taking a guest to fish at night must complete one guest ticket
for the session. (e.g. Sat. / Sun. July 21st. and 22nd.) or (Fri.
/ Sat./ Sun. July 20th. 21st. 22nd.) if the ticket is to cover two
nights. No pre - booking is required.

Members’ Children
/ Grandchildren |
A member’s child/grandchild may accompany
the member to fish subject to conditions contained in Rule 10 ‘Members’
Children/Grandchildren. |

Parking |
Vehicles must be parked only in the car parks or
parking areas provided, and must not obstruct gate entrances or access
points. A key is issued for the padlocked gates at Borrowash Bridge
Car Park and Nooning Lane Car Park (on right of approach road). This
key will also open padlocks on gates which will eventually be fitted
at all car parking areas at this site. These gates must always be
locked before going down to the river to fish, and when leaving the
site after fishing ends. Only the recognised access points and paths
are to be used, and trespassing on adjoining private land is forbidden.
All gates must be property closed and fastened both on arrival and
departure. |

Lower Derwent Membership |
The Club operates a separate coarse fishing membership
section, at a reduced fee, which entitles members of that section
to fish this stretch of the River Derwent only for coarse fish, but
no other Club water. |

Matches |
The Club also issue permits to other clubs and
associations who apply to hold coarse fishing matches on this water. |
| 11 |
Bailiffs |
A number of paid part-time Club Bailiffs who are
not Club members have been appointed to act for this stretch of river,
and are authorised to fish the Lower Derwent only on their Lower Derwent
Club Bailiff cards. |
