  Type of Sport During the period 18th March to 7th October, only wet and dry fly-fishing for trout are allowed.
During the period 8th October to 14th March, both wet and dry fly-fishing and bait fishing for coarse fish, including grayling, roach, dace and pike are permitted.
    Spinning is not allowed
5 Rod Limit There is a rod limit at this water and full details for booking in and catch returns are given in Appendix 6
6 Guests are allowed For details and conditions see Appendix 6
7 Members’ Children / Grandchildren A member’s child/grandchild may accompany the member to fish subject to the conditions in Rule 10 - Members’ Children /Grandchildren.
8 Parking Cars must be parked facing the fence in the entrance to Willersley Castle. There are club notices indicating Derbyshire County Angling Club parking. The gate marked on the map can be opened with your Club Padlock key. There is a checking station in the first field near the bridge.
Boxing Day Raft Race This charity event is held on this water on Boxing Day each year and no fishing will be allowed on that day.
