PERMITTED and is an offence under the Esk District fishing bye-laws. |

Rod Limit |
Not more than four rods are allowed to fish this
beat at any one time and these must be booked through the Club’
Booking Officer, Scotland - details in Appendix
6 Bookings are from Monday to Saturday as Sunday fishing for migratory
fish is illegal in Scotland.
Members are not permitted to fish this water without first obtaining
a permit which will be issued to successful applicants.
Applications to the Club Booking Officer, Scotland should include
a stamped, self addressed envelope. Bookings should be made as soon
as possible in the new year to be assured of a choice of week. The
Booking Officer, Scotland will confirm dates and supply full details
of the water. Bookings made after January are on a first come first
served basis. Payment in full must be made two months before the booked
date. Any bookings, which are subsequently cancelled, will not be
refunded unless the bookings can be re-allocated. |

Charges are made
for members from the end of April and these increase from the end
of August to the end of the season. There is no charge for members
from the beginning of the season to the last Saturday in April.

Guests |
There are charges for non-members taken as guests.
These charges increase from the end of April and again from the end
of August to the close of the season. Non-members pay more than members
and details of the charges agreed for the following season will be
given in a Club Newsletter. |

Catch Returns |
Before returning from their fishing holiday, members
should enter details of their catch in the book kept for this purpose
in the Club’s Portacabin. Also, within one week of their return,
members should complete and send to the Booking Officer for Scotland,
the catch return form, which was issued with their permit |

Portacabin |
A Club checking station key opens the Club’s
portacabin. Members are expected to leave the portacabin locked when
fishing and to ensure that it is clean and tidy before they return
home. |
