8 Access Gates The gates are fitted with the Club's standard padlock. Please leave the gates closed after entering and leaving the site. The club rents mowing rights to farmers at these venues.
9 Parking

In summer coarse anglers, fishing the river or upper lake, may, in suitable conditions, park near their fishing station. When the ground is very wet the Club Bailiff will post notices asking members to park vehicles on the hard-standing car parks and certain gates will be locked. Members’ keys will not fit these internal gates, only the main entrance gate.
For fishing the trout lake, Park in car park 3 and use checking station to record visit FIRST before deciding which area of lake to fish, then drive round to appropriate car park (e.g. 4,5 or 6) or remain in car park 3. When fishing ends return to the checking station to record your catch, or nil return, BEFORE leaving the site.
Fishing the Doctor’s Surgery stretch. There is a parking area, but members may, if they wish, and at their own risk, take vehicles down the river bank and park them near the point where they wish to fish provided they do not take vehicles outside a five metre strip from the top of the river bank back into the adjoining field. This 5 metre strip of land will be marked by wooden posts set in the ground at 50 metre intervals, beyond which members must not take vehicles under any circumstances.

10 Flooding This river occasionally floods. Flooding first occurs at Willington Bridge cutting off access to and from Meadow Lane. Members should check river conditions, especially in spring and winter, before fishing at this site. For advice try the Environment Agency 'River Call' 0930 107703
11 Power Cables An overhead electricity line passes along part of this site. The use of roach poles or any unusually long rods anywhere near these cables is strictly prohibited by the Club. Suitable warnings are in place. There are also limit of fishing notices, parking signs and match pegs.
