1 Season Wilne Pool Open all year
    River Derwent Season starts on 16th June and ends on 14th March
2 Permitted Daily Hours of Fishing Coarse Fishing only. Both day and night fishing are allowed.
3 Taking of Fish No coarse fish of any species, except pike, shall be killed or taken. Members who wish to do so may kill and take one brace of pike per visit. Members returning pike should do so carefully and pike killed must be taken away and not left by the river or lake.
Carp may be returned to the water immediately or kept in large keep nets or carp sacks.
Members should complete a catch return in the checking station after fishing.
4 Mode of Fishing All recognised and accepted methods of coarse fishing during the appropriate seasons.
5 Rod Limit No rod limit is in force on this water
6 Guests For details see Appendix 6
Members taking a guest to fish for carp at night must complete one guest ticket for the session. (e.g. Sat / Sun July 21st and 22nd). Guest tickets should be left in the checking station box after fishing.
7 Members’ Children / Grandchildren A member’s child/grandchild may accompany the member to fish subject to conditions contained in Rule 10 ‘Members’ Children/Grandchildren.
8 Access and Parking This lake, which is owned by the Club, has its own car park accessed through a gate which can be opened using the Club’s padlock key. There is also a gate, from the site leading to the river path, which can be opened with the same key.
  The Wilne Pool car park can also be used by Lower Derwent members wishing to fish the river beyond the lake.
Lower Derwent members are not allowed to fish Wilne Pool
