This is a sporting club, which offers good fishing facilities for a reasonable annual subscription. members are expected to be 'sporting’ and to interpret the rules governing conduct and fishing practices accordingly. The club does not operate commercial fisheries but carries out reasonable stocking programmes using only the best quality trout of good size each year. records show that good catches are consistent. The rule governing the taking of trout provides that members may take one brace of takeable fish per day with a total overall limit of three brace per week from all trout waters. it is not intended that members should take the limit too frequently.

3. In the interests of the sport and in order to maintain the health, quality and condition of fish returned to the water, members are asked to consider using barbless hooks.

4. Warning - Overhead power lines. anglers are warned that it is extremely dangerous to fish under, or in close proximity to, overhead electricity cables.
